Curriculum
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets standards that all Early Years providers must meet to ensure that children aged birth to five-years-old learn and develop well. It ensures that children are kept healthy and safe, and that they have the knowledge and skills that they need to start school.

Here at Winstanley, we use non-statutory guidance including Birth to 5 Matters and Development Matters , and our teams experience, expertise and knowledge, to create a curriculum that is specially designed and tailored to meet the needs of our children.
Please find below 'The Winstanley Way', a document which outlines some ways in which we deliver each area of learning.
Our long term plans and knowledge organisers ensure children recieve a rich, broad-balanced curriculum. Whilst we may have some 'themes', which are determined by children's predictable interests, we do allow flexibility, to ensure that we can also follow children's current interests, identified through observation.
